Ughhhhh! It's Monday!

Have youe ever seen the green looking fuzzy person holding a coffee cup in any of your emails? That's about how I feel today. Tired, crabby, needing caffiene to even think about functioning to one quarter of my capacity level. It's that bad!
Have you ever cut wood for a weekend? With my father? No, probably not. Well.........let me just tell you....it's like when you're at work and you want to check your email without getting caught, so you constantly are on your guard to see if anyone is watching. You don't stand around when you're with my dad, no siree. You work....and you work hard....VERY HARD! I have moved brush, stacked wood, raked sawdust and leaves and small branches. I have blocked off the street, I have held logs while sawdust has splashed in my face. I nailed my thigh (front and back, mind you) with a large tree branch that curled around my leg, unknowingly. My loving husband ran into my calf with the bobcat bucket (yeah, baby...that hurt!) when he got to close and obviously, I wasn't paying attention.
I did all this for my father for 2 days! I am one tired puppy! I sit here at work and just wish I could go home and go back to bed! I even went to bed early. This is why I am not one for manual labor! My body goes into protest after it's all over.
The one good thing that came out of all this is that my dad was proud of me for busting my hump! And do you know why I busted my hump? (This would be my dad's comment to my step mom) - I'm good stock! What am I, cattle? Oh well.......I got a loving comment and a hug. What more can a daughter ask for?
My advice to you......if your dad asks you to do something, that consists of manual labor....tell him you're busy! :)
Hugs to my peeps!
