Money, money, money!

Why, why why do we need money? Is it so that we can be forced to part with what we have worked so hard far? I do believe so. If we want to have the convenience of talking to someone else while not being in the same room, we are forced to pay a phone bill. If we want to get to from one place to another without walking, we are forced to purchase a vehicle, keep insurance on it, put gas in it and maintain it. And this is so that we can be legal about it. Now, let's talk about keeping a roof over your head. If you don't want to be homeless, you must purchase some form of a home. Then, you must purchase insurance for this as well. And if you don't want to freeze to death or die of heat stroke, you must purchase some form of heating and cooling source. And if you don't want to starve to death while living in your home, you must purchase food and a source to cook it. Not to mention a washer and dryer, if you don't want to stink to high heaven or wear dirty clothes.
In purchasing all the above things this takes away from any money you might want to spend elsewhere....you know.....like for something fun! Something that you don't have to have.
And do you know what happens if you can't pay for all of these things, mentioned above. THEY shut it off! THEY take it away! And then we have to do without. Can I just say....MONEY STINKS!
I do feel a little better after my venting, but not much! My brother in law is going through some things right now and needless to say.....he's living like a pioneer right now! No electric, no water, no heat! He's behind in mortgage and vehicle payments and to boot someone stole his debit card number!
No one wants to help, that can. People that want to help, can't. The economy stinks right now, people aren't working, money's not coming in, but the bills are still coming!
All we can do right now is pray! Pray that things get better! Pray that he doesn't lose his house. Pray that he finds a better job.
Thanks for listening to me vent! And this too shall pass.
